Dominion Homes rip-off Galloway Ohio test1
I bought a Dominion home recently and I am quite happy with the way that they treated my wife and myself. After all, we are newly weds and 21 years old but they made it very easy for us. When we moved in we were surprised with a free gas grill and a complimentary tool box with all sorts of things in it all wrapped up like a gift basket of soaps. We even received a tin of delicious cookies a week later from the girls in sales. Little did I know what an act it all was. I later ran over a nail in my 1989 Formula 350 Firebird and punctured a $120.00 tire right in front of my house. Well, I had it patched but it did not hold so I was forced to replace it. I figurted that since clean-up is on the customer satisfaction list we would be reimbursed for this but when I called I was told that "That is one of the risks of living in a new construction area." Well, I was upset at first but after I swept the section of road in front of our house and the driveway and tossing the old tire in their trash I felt a little better. Especially when my wife said "What are the chances of that happening again?" Well, 1 month and 1 chemical patch later I found out how likely. Please help me make Domintion pay...

Thermal Seal test1
My wife and I just bought a Dominion home recently (See "Dominion land mines" and "FireBird Franzee") We decided to have Thermal Seal build a new deck for usand they said that we would be enjoying our deck for the fourth of July. Well, their price was steep but with their lowest price gauranteed we found an even better estimate and they said that they would match it without a problem. July 6th came and I called my sales associate. He informed me that the order was cancelled because they would not profit from building a deck for the lower price agreed upon, and he asked "Why, didn't anyone call you?" I hung up, tired of all of these companies digging deeper into my too-shallow wallet and read their contract. It seems that we could not back out of the contract after 3 days of signing yet they could cancel at any time if they found that a quality deck could not be manufactured for the price agreed upon by the sales associate. By the way, the fireworks were beautiful out of our back window, too bad we had nothing to sit on outside to enjoy them!

Avoid "Shae Kibbey" ..contractors in San Marcos Texas test1
ContractorsShae Kibbey was contracted to build a 2-car garage and apartment for us. His work was substandard, he kept increasing the price, and refused to fix his mistakes, such as improper installation of AC unit, electrical fixtures which dont work, a roof that leaks, and electical hook-ups which dont meet code. When we withheld the final payment pending repairs, he filed a lien against our home, which was illegal and promptly rescinded by the court. This man has been sued several times for similar incidents, one including a very elderly couple, and had his license revoked. He now operates by working for a company owned by his girlfriend. Avoid this person at all costs.
